It's the sixth race of the GT Open season, and it's a mild, dry day at the Red Bull Ring in Austria. It's one of the most undulating circuits of the year, winding through the rolling hills of the Spielberg countryside, with views of the mountains almost all of the way around.

Qualifying was reasonably tight on Saturday, with just a few seconds between first and last. Aaron and Steve managed a respectable time of 1:28.8, putting them in 7th in the PRO-AM class for the first race that afternoon. Race 1 of the weekend was uneventful and resulted in a 9th place finish in their class, with GetSpeed's other PRO car taking 2nd in their respected class.

Day 2's qualifying resulted in the pair shaving off two tenths of the previous day's time, putting them in 7th for the second race of the weekend. That afternoon, Aaron & Steve fought their way through the field, putting in consistently fast lap times and making full use of the lower track temps, to take home 2nd place—their 6th podium of the season. These vital points were crucial to keeping the two in the lead for the championship, with only 2 points separating 1st and 2nd overall.
